Camp Kickoff: June 1, 4-6:30 p.m.
Camp: June 2-4, 2026
Cost: $30
This high-energy, hands-on day camp is designed for individuals with autism (ages 15–25) who are starting to think about life after high school. Through real-world experiences, guided support, and new environments, participants build confidence, independence, and a clearer vision for their future.
Participants will engage in campus and career exploration, enjoy fun, interactive activities, and connect with peers while building meaningful friendships in a supportive and structured setting.
Camp Highlights
Camp Kickoff: Celebration BBQ
Monday, June 1 | 4-6:30 p.m. | Open to participants, alumni, and families
• We kick off this transformative experience with a special celebration barbecue for all participants and families!
• Featured Speaker: Dr. Shannon Farris, Cape Police Department, Blue Envelope Program
Day 1: Outdoor Adventure & Storytelling Tuesday, June 2 | 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• “Escape” to the outdoors with the Missouri Department of Conservation
• Surprise special guest appearance
• Back by popular demand: Janice Katambwa, inspirational storyteller
Day 2: Campus & Career Connection
Wednesday, June 3 | 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Explore Southeast Missouri State University with a guided campus tour and step inside the iconic Academic Hall dome
• Discover SEMO’s dynamic esports program
Day 3: St. Louis Career Exploration
Thursday, June 4 | 7:45 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Go behind-the-scenes at the St. Louis Zoo
• Experience the stars at the University of Missouri-St. Louis planetarium
